New York, NY.- The Christmas show of the Cathedral School took place last Friday. The entire school, from Nursery up to Eight Grade participated on the Christmas festivity. Mr. Kusulas, the Principal of the school, underlined the theme of Christmas:” unity and love.”
Students, parents, and faculty joined Mr. Kusulas’s Christmas message with the blessings of the Dean of the Cathedral Father John Vlahos. The Upper School students sung Christmas carols from different regions of Greece, Latin Christmas carols and American Christmas songs. The Lower School students performed Charlie Brown’s Christmas in English and the nativity scene in Greek. Nursery, Pre-k and Kindergarten sung Greek and American Christmas songs. At the end of the show, parents, students and teachers enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies.
The day before, Mr. Kusulas’s wife, Angela Kusulas, prepared a homemade breakfast for the school’s faculty. Unity, love and a vision “for creating awesome” as the principal highlights, is the school’s message for the entire year.
