New York.- Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides arrives on Monday 26 May in New York, where he will hold meetings with UN officials and with Cypriot and Greek community leaders in the US.
According to an official press release, during his stay in New York, Christodoulides will meet with Elizabeth Spehar, Director of the Europe Division of the UN Department of Political Affairs.
He will also meet with the leaders of the Cypriot community in the United States, as well as with representatives of the Media, whom he will brief on the latest developments on the Cyprus problem and the current economic situation in Cyprus.
The Government Spokesman will also be the keynote speaker at the 40th Graduation Ceremony of the Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies at Queens College of the City University of New York. His speech will focus on “The upgraded geostrategic role of Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean region.”
The Government Spokesman will depart for Cyprus on May 30.
