The Youth Committee members dedicate their time for our youth as volunteers. They put many hours of time into developing guidelines to improve our programs. As the Director, Deacon Evagoras should review and provide his input to the youth committee for discussion and consideration. I am sure with dialogue all would come to a final revision of the Youth Programs Guidelines. However Director Deacon Evagoras approach to make his own changes without discussion and agreement is wrong and is not the manner organizations function. Disagreement is normal and healthy with any organization, however, if nearly all (33 members) will resign from many years of work with our youth and children due to the actions of one, then Archdiocese must prioritize and take action with this serious issue. The Youth programs shape the future of our Church and Faith, and to jeopardize this extraordinary program would be shameful.
