Tripoli.- An event on attracting investors to the Peloponnese was held in Athens by regional officials in cooperation with the Canadian embassy and the organisation Invest in Greece.

Peloponnese regional governor Petros Tatoulis stressed the need for a change in mentality as regards the economy, focused on its leverage through investments, and underlined the locals’ consensus and support of this purpose.

On his part, Canadian ambassador to Greece Robert Peck indicated that the promotion project for the Peloponnese was a unique growth and investment opportunity, and made special note of the airport of Tripoli, whose development study was completed by a Canadian company and presented during the event.
