Washington, D.C.- Over 100 Greek-American and Cypriot-American leaders from across the US and Hellenes from around the world will be participating in the 16th Annual Cyprus Conference, to be held in Washington from 15 to 17 June 2005.
Participants at the conference hosted by the International Coordinating Committee – Justice for Cyprus (PSEKA), the World Council of Hellenes (SAE), the United Hellenic American Congress (UHAC) and the National Coordinated Effort of Hellenes (CEH) will be meeting again with the highest-level administration officials in charge of US policy on Cyprus, Greece and Turkey, a CEH press release says.
”Participants will also be meeting with over 30 key US Senators and Members of Congress who serve on the pertinent committees and subcommittees and others who play a major role in the formulation of these matters,” the press release notes.
”At previous conferences, participants have met with Presidents, Vice Presidents, cabinet members and senior officials, and we anticipate doing so again this year,” it adds.
