Athens.- Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Dendias referred to the serious problems in the country’s correctional system in an interview published in Tipos tis Kiriakis newspaper.
Dendias underlined the need for the adoption of measures and the introduction of institutional reforms. He said that an “osmosis is taking place in the case of common crime and terrorists” and added that a high security prison will operate in Domokos, central Greece.
He also said that the Greek Police (EL.AS) take all necessary measures to prevent a terrorist attack. Responding to a question on whether the 17N case file is reopened, he said that “everything is being examined and assessed”.
