The Solon Society, the Hellenic Cultural Society of Long island presents a lecture by Dr. Gaetana Cippola on the “Interrelationship between Greece and Sicily”. Dr. Gaetano is a professor at St. John’s University. He is a well known authority on Sicily.
His book Sicilian Studies of the Sicilian Ethos contains chapters on the Greek, Jewish and Arabic presences and their influence on Sicilians.
