Center of Hellenistic Studies in Alexandria

The cooperation of the Alexander Onassis Foundation, the Vardinoyiannis Foundation, the University of Alexandria and the Library of Alexandria produced the creation of the Center of Hellenistic Studies, under the auspices of the first lady of Egypt. The inauguration of the Center, located in the library of Alexandria, coincided with an exhibition of the Velimezi-Margaritis Collection, entitled “Approaching Heaven”. Along with Patriarch Theodoros, vice-minister Theodoros Kassimis, Onassis Foundation President Antonis Papademetriou and good will ambassador Mariannoa Vardinoyianni.
